Privacy Policy

This policy describes what data Mornin Runtz LLC collects on morninruntz.com, why we collect it, and what your rights are. Plain English first.

1. Information we collect

• Contact form data. When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email, topic, and message.
• Order data. When you buy coffee or merch, our checkout (Shopify) collects your name, shipping address, billing details, email, and order history.
• Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics tracks aggregate page views without cookies or personal identifiers.
• Server logs. Standard request logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamp) are retained briefly by our hosting provider for security.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to messages you send us.
• To fulfill and ship orders, and to handle returns or refunds.
• To send transactional emails about your order or subscription.
• To improve the site based on aggregate, non-personal traffic patterns.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers.

3. Cookies

The site itself does not set marketing or analytics cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. Our Shopify checkout uses essential cookies to maintain your cart and session; those are governed by Shopify's policy.

4. Third-party services

• Shopify, checkout, order management, subscription billing.
• Cloudflare, site delivery, bot protection (Turnstile), analytics.
• Google Maps, embedded map on the contact and home pages.
• Instagram, embedded feed on the shop page.
• Schematic / hosted contact forwarder, receives contact form submissions and forwards them to our team email.

5. Data retention

Contact messages are kept for 24 months. Order records are kept as long as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years). Analytics data is aggregate and not tied to individuals.

6. Your rights

If you live in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. California residents have the right to opt out of any sale of personal information (we don't sell it). To exercise any right, email hi@morninruntz.com from the address tied to your account or message.

7. Children's privacy

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Payment data is handled by Shopify and never touches our servers. We follow reasonable industry practices to protect what we do hold.

We'll post any changes to this page and update the date above.
